THE BRAND
Based in Baku, Narmeen creates jewellery which articulates her orient heritage and contemporary vision together.
Narmeen’s aesthetic is inherently oriental as her pieces are imbued with colour, energy and sensuality. However she views a piece of jewellery as an accessory that is to be worn rather than placed in a jewellery box, an object to be interwoven in an everyday life of a woman.
The brand’s vision is versatile yet vocal while the jewellery is classic yet conceptual. In translation from Arabic “Narmeen” means “Tenderness” which is instantly translated into the brand’s colour codes and visual elements.
Beautiful and unexpected stones – from turquoise to opal – that are the core of her creations are featured in exquisite 18k yellow and white gold settings.

DIRECTOR
Growing up in Baku, Narmeen has witnessed and absorbed how a piece of jewellery is considered a heirloom that is passed from generation to generation within the family and carries a talismanic quality. This is where she got her strong belief insymbolic meaning of jewellery that now informs her work.
Being a kid Narmeen has fallen in love with the way her grandmother used to style her jewellery and learnt to be adventurous in doing so herself. Travelling around the world she would always seek for a rare gemstone and later fulfilled a desire to create a beautiful piece of jewellery out of it. Being a student of Sakit Mammadov, Narmeen has become very fond of artistic direction that he has brought forward – Opalism. Since then she has been sourcing the inspiration in the works of this artist. Effects of light and colour is something Narmeen has carried into her collection. By visiting the workshops of the leading fire jewellery brands in the world Narmeen has fallen in love with the craftsmanship process and felt a desire of creating her own line of fine jewellery.
